This exhibition features our Gallery artists and is an annual pre-Christmas show.

OIL SHOW

March 28, 2015

Join us Saturday 10:00 - 4:00pm for an art exhibition opening featuring our Gallery artists on a theme close to home. This show is featuring the oil that comes out of the ground and fuels this region. Expect many interpretations of this theme. Artists are invited to be in attendance for the opening. Confirmed artists for this show are: Micheal Dobson, David Ball and David Yowney among others.

FOR THE LOVE OF NATURE: OUTDOOR SPORTS

This exhibition features our Gallery artists and it corresponds with the Western Canada Games hosted in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Artists are invited to use the natural environment as inspiration for outdoor athletic sports and activities.

WILLOW BASKET WEAVING WORKSHOP - SOLD OUT

Points North Gallery invites you to participate in a willow basket weaving workshop taught by local artisan Leo Parent. At this workshop you will go on a short walk to the riverside to discover where the willow comes from and will then return to the Gallery to weave and create your own willow basket to take home with you.

Gallery at Frames & More invites you to participate in a willow basket weaving workshop taught by local artist Leo Parent. At this workshop you will go on a short walk to the riverside to discover where the willow comes from and will then return to the Gallery to weave and create your own Flower Basket to take home with you. This workshop is open to adults and a charge of $50 per person will include all of your materials for the day. If you have a pair of sharp shears that you would like to use during the workshop, feel free to bring them, but this is not required. Please bring a bagged lunch. Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
